Although the middle schools I taught at were in Marly le Roi, I lived in the 16ème in Paris. My commute to work and back took about 2 hours per weekday, but it was worth it. Unfortunately the pandemic cut my program short, and I never got to say au revoir to my students, but they'll always be in my thoughts.
